Summer leans back in his chair
Spring fidgets with her cards
her new hand's not too bad
but she's afraid
it won't be enough
to gain lost winnings back

Winter looks at what he has left
in prospects he is poor
Autumn looks disinterested still
but on the flop
they both fold.

Summer still beams his grin
that gleaming smile
He thinks to have this in the bag
but alas, how wrong he was
for behind her unsure eyes
Spring was holding a full house.
